Stop Fighting and Live Your Soul Challenge

This week I worked with individuals who speak the Soul Languages of the Deliberator, the Passage Inventor, the Diplomat, the Evolver, and the Heart Conscious.

What I learned from my experiences this week while working with them was that an hour can change your life, just by changing your perception. All of these individuals had the following things in common:

  • they have studied many years in their areas of expertise
  • they are well into their journey, not just starting it
  • they are aware of who they are
  • they are open to understanding and feel there is always more to know

These individuals are just like YOU. Everything you need to know is inside of you. What happened in our work together is that they realized they have been only half-listening to their Souls; that as their lives grew, they didn't adapt their ways. They have since chosen to connect more consciously with their Souls.

Each day is a chance to shred the layers of limiting beliefs, other people’s perceptions of you, and your own fears, in order to bring forth the talents of your Soul.

I do not know anyone who is 100% of the time without any doubt, without any limiting beliefs, and totally filled with 100% JOY. Even though I know several individuals that speak the Soul Language of the Sun, who by nature see the sunny side of the street—these individuals can see the beauty in mud (I also happen to think mud is really beautiful, but you understand my point here), and even they feel doubt and fear.

If anybody tells you they don’t, they are not being truthful to themselves.

It is (get ready for this) alright to have doubt and fear. Doubt and fear will grow larger when you are in transition. Since we are all expanding, transition can be happening for you on a daily basis. The emotion of fear can be excellent fuel for change and for empowerment.

When you nurture the exploration of your Soul, it results in the following manifestations:

  • belief
  • confidence
  • trust
  • faith
  • leadership
  • prosperity
  • integrity
  • Soulful living
  • conscious capitalism

Are you ready to live from your soul and stop fighting yourself? I know you are! I can feel it from you and from the planet. We are ready to take up the challenge. So here it is:

For one week spend one hour (30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night) consciously connecting with your Soul Languages.

Imagine spending an hour a day listening to what you have to say about you. Imagine spending an hour listening to what the Universe has to say about you.

If you haven't had your Soul Languages Identified, then just connect with your Soul and listen. This also might be a great opportunity to take me up on my complimentary 15 minute session, where one of your Languages will be identified.

I will blog about what happens during my hour, and please let me know what happens in your life about yours via your blog or the Soul Language Community!

Transition - Can Feel As If You Are Dancing Alone

Dear Jen:
When you are going through transition it can be a very scary time or it can be a very sacred time. The choice is really up to you.

Love,
Your Soul

For those of us that are going through transition, it could be very annoying to hear that. Somebody once said it to me and my reaction was, "Great, are you going to tell me how to get to the sacred place? Because I'm really afraid and I'm really not loving this." And to be totally honest, I’ve left out a couple of my favorite curse words.

The key to getting from scary to sacred is surrender, or acceptance. To my Graceful Warrior Language, these sound like very, very dirty words. How many times have you read, heard, been told (via Soul or another person) to just let go? How many times have I written those words in my blogs, my newsletter, or on the Soul Language community site? Definitely hundreds, maybe thousands.

As I accepted my transition and stopped fighting it, several things became very clear to me. I realized that transition was the next leap toward knowing my Soul, and that it would help me guide people more in understanding their Souls.

I’m moving from something big to something global. Even if there are times where it feels as if I'm dancing alone in a crowd, I know that people are starting to tap their feet and soon they will start dancing with me.

As you begin to accept your transition you can create the action steps and strategies that will serve your purpose. The only way to get there is by exploring your Soul.

For today, spend sometime listening to what your Soul desires. You can do this by tapping into your Soul Languages and asking questions like:

  • what does my Axiom of Quest desire to live Soulfully?
  • what does my Axiom of Translation desire to be more joyful?
  • what does my Tone desire to be more accepting?

If you haven't had your Soul Languages Identified, ask yourself how your Soul communicates with you. Then spend sometime doing just that. It could be writing, dancing, drawing, meditating, or just being. There is no wrong or right way to create a conscious connection with your Soul.

Set your fear aside by imaging a large bowl and dumping all that fear into the bowl, or by writing all your fears on a piece of paper and then ripping it up. I'm suggesting you set those fears aside for just 5 minutes and listen to your Soul.

The difference between scared and sacred is the placement of two letters! Just two letters.

Closing the Gap of Contradiction - Between What You Want to Do and What You Are Doing

Every week, my sweet friend Sandra provides me with her already read People magazine, I know that sometime over the next day or two, I'm going to set aside 20 minutes to read and just be me! What naturally happens because I give myself this wonderful time to just be me, a Soul discovery happens.

This week's discovery is thanks to Sandra, magazine, and Andre Agassi.

I was reading about his new book. This line jumped out at me from the page, "I keep begging myself to stop, and I keep playing, and this gap, this contradiction between what I want to do and what I actually do..."

Another way to put what Agassi is trying to say here is transition. This is the period of time where you are working out the want and the doing. This tip is directed toward the gap of contradiction.

This tip is to help you determine why you are not taking action on the desires of your Soul (the wants). A good sign that you are not living Soulfully, is that you are unhappy, not getting what you desire, and feel unsatisfied.

1. Determining the WHAT
This week I asked a client: "Do you know what your Soul wants?" The answer I received really puzzled me. She said that she didn't understand the question. You might not know what you truly desire. You might have a sense of what you don't want so we are going to start there. Write down four things in your life currently that you would like to release. For example: I don't want to be living hand to mouth. Now, change those negatives to positive sentences. I desire a flow of money and abundance.

2. Enforcing those WHATS
Take those four examples and write down what you are doing to enforce those new positive attitudes. Having trouble? Are you seeing the contradiction, see the GAP? If you are doing things, having thoughts, making steps to enforce your new attitudes, great! Your next step is to keep rocking!

3. Closing the Gap of Contradiction
Just take one of those new attitudes and settle into your Soul and ask how you release the contradiction. You could close the Gap by spending a moment each day in gratitude or by spending some time each day dancing. DO NOT judge the information from your Soul, it is profound and powerful.

Let Love Open The Door

Often when we have fears about moving on to our next level we try to start controlling the process. Fear and control can shut many doors for us that were beginning to open. This can make us feel unsupported by others, territorial, overwhelmed, or even resentful. Those feelings will start to generate physical manifestations.

As a leader you can accept your new position in the world—in your life, your business and your community—with Grace. It usually doesn't have to be as hard as you are making it. I trust that we as humans learn from experience, but we sometimes assume that an experience has to involve great suffering in order for us to understand it.

Right here and right now let that belief go. If each one of us lets our part in that belief go, I can only image the impact it will have on the world.

One of the first steps toward accepting your new leadership role with Grace is to create a conscious connection with your Axiom of Translation. In creating this connection, you can receive guidance from this part of your Soul. Remember, your Soul is there for you 24/7.

The Axiom of Translation is the Language category that expresses how your Soul chooses to act out your mission here. It is the movement of your Soul's agenda or mission. So here's how it works: my mission is to be an Equalizer (Axiom of Quest). I create balance in myself and others by taking steps to teach, learn, act and be in integrity—Teacher of Integrity is my Axiom of Translation.

One more example is an individual who is a Pioneer (Axiom of Quest). A Pioneer forges new roads and territories. In this example, this individual also speaks the Axiom of Translation Language known as the Purveyor. They are completing their Soul's agenda or mission to create new roads by securing and providing all the "things" that it takes to create that new road—this is the Language of the Purveyor in action.

Another way of understanding the Axiom of Translation is to listen to the words you and others choose to describe you. A great example of this is someone who speaks the Axiom of Translation of Nurturer. People will often describe these people as givers, as nurturing, etc.

So how can the Axiom of Translation help you accept this new leadership position? Simply by asking this part of your Soul some questions and listening, it will help you come up with a strategy to accept your new power level.

First ground and center yourself, what I call settling in. Take a deep breath and ask these intelligent questions to the part of your Soul that is the Axiom of Translation (if your Languages haven't been identified yet, just set the intention to direct the questions to that part of your Soul): Where are you judging your leadership abilities? What is the first step toward letting go of these judgments?

When we are in judgment we are out of love for ourselves. When we are out of love for ourselves we will often close many doors that could have made our transition easier and more joyful. So let love open the door!
