Utilizing Your Soul Languages to Step Into the Spotlight

A lot of my clients are transformational leaders. There is a good chance if you are a leader, you will be spending sometime in the spotlight. Being in the spotlight can bring up a lot of fears for individuals and create self sabotage situations. This topic which impacts a lot of individuals will be the first group class in the Success Support Program on September 24th.

A recent Soul Language client who is a well known speaker and who is already speaking to large audiences was creating her spotlight to go out, because of a belief that she didn't have anything of value to bring to her audience.

We worked with her Teacher (Axiom of Translation or her "doing" Language) so that she could understand that the knowledge was inside of her and gave her new tools and techniques to access that information.

The first exercise that I recommend for clients that are creating self-sabotage in regard to being in the spotlight is to determine the base of their fear. For some it is a fear of being unsafe, for others it is a fear of being unworthy, and for others it is a fear of being different. Once you have determine the core fear than the transformation can begin.

It is also important that you define what being "in the spotlight" means to you. Almost ten years ago, Baeth Davis analyzed my hands and part of my life's purpose includes to be "in the spotlight." I consider that reading one of the major stops on my journey to Soul Language. I will admit it took me a long time to determine what "in the spotlight" meant to me. Once I had a definition that resonated with me, it was easier to set intentions and ask the intelligent questions. I suggest quieting down and asking your Soul Language that deals with mission to define what "being in the spotlight" means to you. From there you can create your strategy.

Remember, the more you utilize the talents of your Soul consciously the easier your life with me.

Great Intuitive, Bad Client?

I know that one of my talents is being able to utilize my intuition for myself and for others. What I have noticed about myself is I can be a bad client! How am I bad? If I’m in resistance, working with me is like playing tug of war. Once the resistance breaks, and I have that moment where all the knowledge clicks, then hold onto your hats!

My clients are transformational people, so when I wanted to realign the shape of my body, I turned to several transformational people I know. My team is: patient, full of courage, experts in their fields and supportive. These are qualities that I suggest my clients look for in their team members.

The other day, I was getting dressed for a dance class that I was taking with Laura Sullivan. (Laura is a wellness expert and {among other things} she taught me out to love kale. She makes these kale chips that I LOVE.) I started trying on different t-shirts and several of them that didn't fit last month, FIT and looked good).

I took the dance class and during it I remembered what Christine Clifton always says during Nia classes, listen to your body. So guess what, I listen to my body and loved the class. After the class, I went home and had a lovely, healthy meal (making sure that the kitchen was closed by eight; that piece of important advice came from Shelagh Waters of Corwellness. At the last piece of body intelligence that I used was from Susie Shina. I made sure that the lights and TV were off by 10:30 and I was in bed for a good night’s sleep.

What has working with these transformational people taught me? To listen closely because you may never know when that bit of knowledge will allow you to reach your GOAL.

I Am Safe to Change

The Keys of Grace Affirmation deck is an easy to use tool that helps you feel more connected to Spirit, your soul and the Universe. As humans, we search for answers and direction. All you need is inside of you and yet sometimes it is difficult to hear, understand or feel that information – that’s where The Keys of Grace can help. Hearing what your Soul and the Universe wants to say to you, is as easy as selecting a card.

This week's card is called The Statue. Each card contains an affirmation and a focusing word. The Statue's focusing word is: Resistance.

A statue is a three dimensional image that has been sculpted, modeled, cast or carved. Once carved, it is forever frozen, holding that one pose. Unlike a statue, it is in our highest interest to keep moving and expanding. If you chose this card, determine if there is a situation in which you are, like the statue and unable to move. Are you not moving because of resistance to change? Have you been trying to fit a mold of how others “see” you? Resistance to change only slows down the process, it does not make it stop. Look closely at the card, even if the statue is not moving, the world around her is... The clouds in the sky, the seasons shown in the trees, even the dove seems to be moving its head. If you release the struggle with change, the resolution will come more easily and quickly. Take a moment to see yourself without struggle and then look at the card again. Can you see how peaceful the statue now looks? Can you see the pride, triumph and readiness of the woman on the pedestal? She has made it to the top and has let go of the resistance, and now knows that the key to whatever she desired was, and is, always around her.

Interested in moving from resistance to something more powerful? Utilize the affirmation of this card: I am safe to change.

I think Ron Rathbun said it beautifully, "Many times people stay in places they don't like because they are afraid to move. Staying in the same place because of fear and apprehension is like living on a hamster wheel. Step off the hamster wheel by flowing with the changes in your life. Be it a mental or physical change, flow with it."

3 Ways to Master

As you know, a lot has been happening in my life. I have had some knock down, drag out fights with the Divine. There has also been moments of amazing grace. Recently, I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with my good friend, Erin Saxton. She's a Mentor (Axiom of Quest), Master (Axiom of Translation) and Intellect (Tone). Thanks to Erin, I got to meet and be of service to Lisa Nichols (see August 11th blog).I have known Erin for over 10 years and she truly is a Master of ideas. She has also been a Mentor to me time and time again. She has taught me not to take things too seriously. I know you find that hard to believe that I take things too seriously. She has inspired this week's tip.

The Master (Axiom of Translation) Soul Language will be known as the "big idea" person. These individuals are really interested in "doing" the individual pieces to create the masterpiece. They are excellent big picture people. Just as a FYI, Erin's company is called The Idea Network. She named her company long before she had her Languages identified. I'm so amazed how our Soul's want to be a part of our reality.

1. Are You The Only Member On Your Team?
One of the reasons clients come to me is because I help them create balance. A lot of them have a hard time asking for help. Unless you are living on an island alone, there is no reason for you not to have a "go to" team. To accomplish what you want you will need to begin to assemble your team.

2. Who Are You Serving? What do you want to be the Master of? Once you decide that, it is recommended that you check in often to determine if what you are doing is serving that purpose. For example, I'm the Master of Soul Language, everything I do is serving and bringing that information to the world.

3. Accept The Power Of YouMost people worry what will happen if they put out to the Universe, that they are a Master of something. What is your worry in being a Master? What would happen to the world if we all accept our true power and grace? I hope, by saying that I am the Master of Soul Language, it has given you the courage for you to claim your Mastery.

Creating Your Relationship with the Divine

In therapy, you usually spend a huge amount of time re-framing your foundation relationship -- the relationship between you and your parents.

I believe this foundation relationship is not only how you will create your relationships throughout your life but also your relationship with the Divine. Working to re-frame, forgive and re-create this foundation relationship will bring you closer to the Divine. How do I know this? I have been there. Sometimes this recreation and forgiveness process is easy and sometimes it is not. You can move from hard to easy by a willingness to let go of resistance.

So the question is: what do you believe that you are missing from your foundation relationship that you are reliving in your relationship with the Divine? For example: if you feel unsupported by your foundation relationship, how are you carrying over this feeling to your interaction with the Divine? How has this experience disoriented and not allowed you to see the truth of how the Divine really supports you?

Now, the real question is: how can you add something new into your relationship with the Divine? I believe the first step is to understand that the Divine can and will provide you with what you need always. The Divine has unlimited power. The Divine doesn't have beliefs, misalignments, expectations or perceptions that can cause struggle and pain in relationships.

Start off small with your "new" relationship with the Divine. I'm not saying to test your relationship with the Divine, but I am suggesting that you build trust. Remember also to be an active listener in this new relationship with the Divine and don't hold your feelings back -- Express yourself. Don't worry, the Divine can take it and will always love you know matter what!

3 Ways to Strength

We all have different concepts of what courage is. Recently, I was reading a book and there was a discussion between two characters about fear. One character told the other that having no fear just makes you stupid; you are courage and full of strength when you have fear and face it.
1. Define Strength
What is your definition of the word strength? If you don't know, now is the time to define what you consider strength.

2. How Does Your Definition Apply To You
Now take a minute to write down five things about yourself that fit your definition of strength. Congratulate yourself for walking y our talk.

3. Expansion
Take an area where you would like to show more strength. Now, focus on your tailbone and take a deep breath and ask yourself what is the one thing you can start doing today to build that area. Then, go out and just do it!

Why Are You Arguing With the Divine?

My former career was in public relations. I was the girl who booked individuals on Oprah, The Today Show and Larry King Live.

As you know, my mission is working with transformational leaders. Last Friday, thanks to Erin Saxton founder of The Idea Network and my good friend, I got to be of service and to play with one of the leaders in the field -- Lisa Nichols.

Lisa is a breakthrough specialist and you might recognize her from The Secret. She was a motivational speaker at a corporate event and she was funny, powerful and of course motivational.

I think one of the funniest stories that Lisa told and that I could relate to (and I believe everyone of us can and if you can't then you are lying to yourself) was arguing with what she calls Spirit.

We have all been there. You receive guidance, intuition or a message from the Divine or Spirit, resistance kicks in (because we are human and we KNOW better) and the fight begins.

So my question is, WHY? Here are some questions to ask yourself:
  • Are you rebelling?
  • Are you in doubt? What is the belief propelling this doubt forward? Do you not believe that the Universe values you so much as to exactly speak to you?
  • Are you stuck in your own plan? Remember, only God plans we strategize.
What happens when you stop the arguing? Lisa's argument stop shortly after it begun. I figured it out, because of that decision to listen to Spirit; she saved herself several $100s of dollars.

I learned to stop arguing, resisting and planning and I feel supported and loved. So how do you stop fighting yourself and the Divine?

Next time you hear the Divine speaking to you and you want to argue, ask yourself why? The first step to creating a new relationship is to start seeing that relationship in a new light.

A special thanks to both Erin and Lisa for an amazing day of laughter, Spirit and fun!
