3 Ways to Express Your Desire

1. Getting Straight - Do you know what you want? Do you know what you need? Take the time to listen. If determining what you want is hard for you, start with what you don't want. Make a list of the things in life you don't want and then turn them into a positive. For example, something that you might not want could be: "I don't want to work 9-5." The positive of that is: "I want a job with flexible hours."
2. What Did You Say? Speak Up - No one and I repeat NO ONE is a mind reader. If you don't tell people what you need, desire or want, how will they know? It is often wise to select people that are going to be receptive to hearing what you need, desire or want. How do you know if they are receptive? Well, if you keep asking certain things of a person and they don't come through, my suggestion is to set the intention to attract people who are more supportive.
3. Yes, Maybe or No - It is easy to say yes to things or people. Before you become a YES man or woman, take the time to check in. Just pause and ask yourself, "Is this is in line with what you desire, need or want?" If not, it becomes a no. If you haven't decided, then it's a maybe.
